Hellooooo again.
So.. I'm again at the Air New Zealand lounge but a different one this time, I'm ACTUALLY in New Zealand this time, Auckland to be specific. I should be whizzing off to Queenstown in about.. oh.. half an hour or so. WELLWELLWELL. I passed off breakfast to write this, y'know. But I didn't really want to eaet breakfast anyway. THEY HAD SCRAMBLED EGGS AND BAKED BEANS. And we ALLLLL know how much I like scrambled eggs and baked beans. Pffbth. They're on my most-hated food list right along with wine and tea and all that stupid bitter and spicy stuff that should be banned in 57 countries.
Anyway, I should begin my recap about now? I don't know if I have time though, once my parents and cuddly koala brother finish their breakfast, I have to.. BOARD THE PLANE. OMGOMGOMGOMGGGGGGGGGGGGG. AHAHAHAHAH. I think New Zealand air is making me kinda nuts ._. . Anyway.. *CUE FOR FLASHBACK*
Well. We boarded the plane to Melbourne, Australia.. I sat next to this slightly.. rotound (roly-poly) guy who picked his nose as we were about to take-off. Thankfully there was a seat between us because my mommyanddaddy asked politely and managed to conjure a seat that separates their precious daughter from scaryscarystrangerswhohavealackofpersonalhygiene. I'm sure you've heard about the mysterious gas that SIA disperses that knocks me off to sleep. I think it's kinda dangerous though. What happens if something goes wrong during the take-off and landing, (which is when I fall asleep due to the mentioned sleeping gas), which is also PROBABLY the most dangerous part of the flight and SOMETHING HAPPENS, (CHOYCHOYCHOY, TOUCHWOOD, SPIT ON THE FLOOR AND USE YOUR FOOT TO RUB THE SPIT INTO OBLIVION), then I'm basically dead.. *repeat the before-mentioned activities to ward off bad luck*. ANYWAYYYY. After that, we arrived at the Melbourne airport and grabbed our car which I feel is REALLY BAD for the environment because it runs on diesel and diesel is cheaper than petrol and runs out VERY SLOWLY so anything that is very fuel-efficient and CHEAP must be badfortheenvironment, do you agree with my extensively researched scientific conclusion? I always use the phrase, "extensively researched" in reports, I wonder why O_o ? Right-o. We drove off to Arrow on Swanston which is quite a pretty service apartment right SMACK in the middle of city. It's very simple but it has a cute little colourful bedspread which gives it a lot of plus points in my opinion. And I have my own ROOOOM. So I didn't have to sleep on the sofa like the last time when my brother decided he wanted to stay in that VERY SAME APARTMENT about SIX MONTHS AGO when we ALSO came to visit him and I was pushed to the Sofa with the promises of a business class seat when we flew back to Singapore. Of course, I was TRICKED. Turns out, I was getting a business class seat no matter what, even if I didn't give up my beautiful, rainbow-coloured bed, (I took the bedspread as a blanket though so my sofa was rain-bow coloured and his bed was WHITE and the strange BROWN fleece thing they always cover beds with, overseas), I would have been able to fly back in absolute comfort because of the H1N1 virus. Does anyone realise that practically no-one on business class got sick? In my opinion, I think it's the food which is much better than the cardboard they feed the poor schmucks on Economy. Or it might be the space in between the chairs while the schmucks in Economy have to squish in. Okay, I just realised that I'm recapping rather slowly, I've typed out quite a chunky post already but I'm still only at Arrow on Swanston. Hurrying up now, we called my brother and he was supposed to come by so we could walk to lunch together. Of course, I was the one who was sent downstairs to pick him up and hold the key which would send him to our door. And of course, he took so insanely long that my teeth was chattering with the cold even though it's SUMMER NOW, because I didn't take a jacket and I was wearing flip-flops. So of course, he came strolling in :l . Anyway, we went up in the elevator after I swiped the card, (Did I mention my super-cool card-swiping skills?), and we were welcomed with many hugs and what-not. Ew, I'm getting a stomach-ache. Getting back on track, we went down again where we were introduced to my brother's friends who, in my opinion (again), were very nice people for taking him under their wing. Seriously, sometimes he can be a bit of a grouchypants and he isn't exactly Mr. Social Butterfly, you know? AHAHAHAH, he might read this but he really should be less grouchy to me, especially when I mention his moustache, and he didn't exactly used to flutter in Secondary One. If I remember correctly, he was kind of chunky, so he couldn't exactly take-off, and get off the ground, yeah? AHAHAHHAA, me so mean. Nah, he wasn't that chunky, just baby phat and what not. But he has shaved the pounds off when he walked even though he refuses to shave his moustache and threatens me with his "ULTIMATUM" whenever I offer to trim it nicely for him with a pair of tweezers, (trim being rip the whole thing off). He doesn't really have a MOUSTACHE, just this ANNOYING thingy on his lip. Oh gross, I don't want to talk about it in my blog-post anymore. Okay, BACK ON TRACK. His friends were all very nice but I was wondering why they were all wearing black? And why one carried on a stuffed-toy cat to the examination hall where they were walking back from. If you must know, there were three girls I think? Yeah, he's never mixed around with GIRLS before, Melbourne has really broadened his horizons :D. Nah, not that kind of GIRLS, just friends. BAHAHAHAH. LOLOLOLOL. Getting kind of awkward. Anyway. We walked there and I was basically ignored, (:((() and called short, until we got to the intersection where we departed with his new-found friends and went off to the Italian restaurant with his old friends and had a pretty nice lunch. I had.. soup, I think? It was okay but Melbourne was kinda warm and there were these giant, dumbdumb flies around.
EEK. Gots to go. My dad wants me to eat breakfast :ll . Well, just writing this so you know I'm aliveeeeee . Pray that the plane doesn't crash *repeat bad-luck warding off gestures* .
